pluto texture map

This actually isn't pluto at all. Most of the image information comes from a map of Ganymede (a moon of Jupiter) meticulously constructed by Björn Jónsson. I modified his Ganymede map to use as a stand-in for Pluto, because we don't really have a detailed picture of what Pluto looks like — just some murky variations in the albedo. I changed the color tone to give it a dark, cold, icy appearance, and I applied the known albedo information to the map to give it the same pattern of light and dark areas that the planet actually has. This has the result of giving the planet an icebound, frozen look.
